Cardinal Ethanol, LLC engages in production and sale of fuel-grade ethanol, distiller grains, corn oil, and raw carbon dioxide in the continental United States. The company's ethanol is used as an octane enhancer in fuels; an oxygenated fuel additive for reducing ozone and carbon monoxide emissions; and a non-petroleum-based gasoline substitute. It also offers distillers grains for applications as animal feed supplement for dairy, beef, poultry, and swine industries; corn oil that is used as a feed ingredient, feedstock to produce biodiesel, and for other industrial uses; and carbon dioxide gas.
