This passively managed fund seeks to offer broad exposure to the Indian equity market by holding a diverse collection of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) of Indian companies. To be eligible, companies must be traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Nasdaq, or the London Stock Exchange (LSE), and must satisfy particular investability and liquidity requirements, including a minimum market capitalization of $100 million. The index assigns weights to these Indian depositary receipts based on their market capitalization, with an individual issuer's weight capped at 15%.
