XRPT is a leveraged fund focused on providing 2x the daily price returns linked to XRP futures contracts traded on CFTC-registered exchanges, along with collateral investments like cash or high-quality securities. It aims for 2x daily participation in XRP returns by using the price of the near-expiry XRP futures contracts and rolling the futures contracts prior to expiration. Though the fund does not invest directly in XRP, it benefits from XRP futures contracts price increases and exposes investors to leveraged downside risk.
