The primary goal of this investment vehicle is to replicate the total returns, encompassing both capital appreciation and income generation, of the S&P China 500 Index, prior to the deduction of any charges or costs. Ordinarily, a minimum of 80% of the fund's entire asset base (excluding collateral acquired from lending out securities) will be deployed into constituents of the benchmark index or into other financial instruments whose economic attributes are virtually identical. The S&P China 500 Index itself is composed of the 500 most significant qualifying companies selected from the more expansive S&P Total China BMI Index.
