VEGX is passively managed to track an index that screens companies from developed markets outside of the US and Australia using ethical filters to exclude companies deriving more than 2% of revenue from activities related to animal exploitation, environmental harm, fossil fuels, tobacco, armaments, or human rights abuses. After screening, the remaining companies are weighted by market capitalization, with individual holdings capped at 5%. The index is reconstituted semi-annually each June and December.
