The fund endeavors to mirror the financial performance of the Validea Market Legends Index, prior to accounting for any fees or expenses. Under ordinary market conditions, a minimum of 80% of the fund's overall assets (excluding collateral from securities lending activities) will be allocated to the individual components of that index. This index operates on a proprietary, systematic methodology, conceived by Validea Capital Management, LLC – the fund's investment adviser – which selects companies by applying the documented stock selection principles of historically distinguished investors.
