USLN tracks an index of USD-denominated institutional floating rate loans, also known as leveraged or bank loans. These loans feature periodic interest rate adjustments and are typically below investment grade, senior secured instruments offering higher rates due to the risks of lending to borrowers with higher debt levels. Eligible loans must be first-lien, syndicated in the US, with at least $1 billion outstanding, 18 months to maturity, rated BB+ or below, and offer a minimum 125 basis-point spread above the base rate.
