UCRD actively invests in investment-grade corporate bonds, utilizing proprietary methodologies to pick securities that demonstrate strong ESG characteristics and acceptable credit risk. The fund uses two proprietary methodologies: an ESG methodology, which scores securities on environmental, social, and governance factors, and a proprietary credit rating methodology, which combines the composite ESG score and credit risk assessment to create an internal credit rating. This internal credit rating is then used to select the securities for the portfolio.
