TUSI seeks maximum total returns by investing in a diversified portfolio of US fixed income securities, which may include US treasurys, government securities, corporate bonds, cash equivalents, and with an emphasis on structured products (i.e., MBS, commercial MBS, ABS, and CLOs). The portfolio mainly consists of investment grade securities, but may allocate up to 15% of the portfolio in high-yield securities. The fund may invest in debt of any maturity but seeks to maintain an effective fund duration of one year or less.
