The fund aims to provide income and moderate capital growth through an actively managed portfolio of income-producing securities of Canadian issuers. These securities may include, but not limited to, dividend-paying common stocks and preferred shares, and real estate investment trusts (REITs). The portfolio adviser uses a quantitative approach in identifying and optimizing exposure to such securities.
