Sempra is an energy-service holding company, which engages in the development and operation of energy infrastructure, and provision of electric and gas services. It operates through the following segments: Sempra California, Sempra Texas Utilities, Sempra Infrastructure, and All Other. The Sempra California segment offers natural gas and electric service to Southern California and part of central California through Sempra’s wholly owned subsidiaries, SDG&E and SoCalGas.
