SHC aims to closely track the investment performance of the FTSE Canada Sustainable Yield 150 10% Capped Index (CAD), or any successor index, before the deduction of its operational fees and expenses. To achieve this, SHC invests directly or indirectly in a portfolio of up to 150 Canadian equity securities. These securities are selected from public issuers that exhibit relatively high and sustainable dividend yields at the time of the index's reconstitution or balancing events.
