RSPM differentiates itself by using an equal-weighting strategy, which only includes basic materials companies in the S&P 500. Smaller companies have the same weighting as giants, tilting the whole fund to midcaps. Perhaps surprisingly, this does not increase RSPM's portfolio volatility.
