Its primary purpose is to grant investors comprehensive total return exposure to WTI Crude Oil futures contracts, crucially with daily currency hedging against the British Pound (GBP). This ETC endeavours to precisely replicate the performance of the Bloomberg WTI Crude Oil Multi-Tenor Pound Sterling Daily-Hedged Total Return Index (BCLMTTRP). To achieve this, it tracks the Bloomberg WTI Crude Oil Multi-Tenor Pound Sterling Daily-Hedged Excess Return Index while also incorporating any accrued interest revenue, after accounting for the product's inherent fees and operational costs. Therefore, if its benchmark, the Bloomberg WTI Crude Oil Multi-Tenor Pound Sterling Daily-Hedged Total Return Index, experiences a 1% daily increase or decrease, the ETC aims to exhibit a corresponding 1% movement in value (prior to fee deductions).
