The index itself is structured to measure the returns of a curated selection of 25 Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs) in the energy sector. These partnerships are re-evaluated and selected every three months based on a systematic approach that considers specific measurable financial criteria for publicly traded MLPs, such as the increase in their distributions, their anticipated capital spending, and the reliability of their distribution payments.
