The AdvisorShares North Square McKee ESG Core Bond ETF (MENV) endeavors to accomplish its investment goal by allocating capital across a varied selection of fixed-income instruments. This portfolio encompasses diverse bonds, as well as mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities, primarily issued by U.S. entities, though international issuers are also included to a lesser extent. A fundamental aspect of the fund's approach is that, under ordinary market conditions, no less than 80% of its net assets (inclusive of any borrowed funds for investment) will be dedicated to bonds that fulfill specific environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) criteria.
