KAL Energy, Inc. engages in the exploration, extraction, and distribution of coal. It holds interests in two coal concessions situated near the Mahakam River in north eastern Kalimantan, Indonesia. The company was formerly known as Patriarch, Inc. and changed its name to KAL Energy, Inc. in November 2006.
