To accomplish this, the fund utilizes various financial instruments, which ProShare Advisors believes, when combined, should consistently deliver returns aligned with this objective. The S&P Financial Select Sector Index itself measures the performance of companies belonging to the financial industry group within the larger S&P 500 Index.
