Dermisonics, Inc. manufactures ultrasonic transdermal drug-delivery technologies and equipment. It primarily focuses on the development, testing, and commercialization of its active transdermal patch, called the U-Strip, that has been designed to facilitate the needle-free delivery of drugs with large molecular structures, such as Insulin into the bloodstream. The company was formerly known as Second Stage Ventures, Inc. and changed its name to Dermisonics, Inc. in October 2004.
