The fund seeks to provide quarterly cash distributions and capital appreciation by actively selecting large-cap gold and precious metals companies listed on a North American stock exchange. The fund specifically includes firms involved in the mining, fabrication, processing, and distribution of metals including gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and diamonds. The fund holds a concentrated portfolio of at least 15 companies selected by market-cap, however, adjustments can be made based on the fund advisers view on the firms liquidity and their related call options.
