This index consistently features a fixed set of eight core constituents: Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, Netflix, NVIDIA, and Tesla. An additional seven companies are integrated based on a defined selection methodology. To qualify for inclusion, securities must be traded on a U.S. exchange, categorized within the technology sector, and boast a minimum market capitalization of $10 billion. The selection procedure for the seven supplementary firms begins by identifying the 30 largest eligible companies by market capitalization. These 30 are then re-ordered according to their average daily trading value over the preceding twelve months.
