These bonds originate from industrial, utility, and financial companies located in both the U.S. and other countries. Under typical market conditions, the fund will dedicate at least 80% of its total assets, either directly or through related instruments, to a collection of these U.S. dollar-denominated, BBB-rated corporate bonds from domestic and international issuers. A key requirement for these bonds is that their remaining maturity falls within a range of five to less than ten years. The index is designed to reflect the performance of BBB fixed-rate, taxable U.S. dollar-denominated corporate bonds issued by U.S. and non-U.S. industrial, utility and financial issuers. Under normal circumstances, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets either directly or indirectly in a portfolio of U.S. dollar-denominated, investment grade corporate bonds issued by U.S. and non-U.S. corporate issuers rated BBB with remaining maturities of greater than or equal to five year and less than ten years.
