In typical market conditions, this fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets to financial instruments designed to reflect the economic characteristics of large-capitalization U. S. equities. More specifically, the portfolio manager's strategy is to invest nearly all of the fund's capital in Flexible Exchange Options (FLEX Options) that derive their value from the S&P 500 Price Index.
