The index this ETF tracks is built to give investors access to businesses primarily focused on the gold extraction industry, with all values measured in U. S. currency. Typically, the fund will dedicate at least 80% of its total assets, including any capital acquired through borrowing for investment purposes, to the securities that form this benchmark, as well as to American and Global Depositary Receipts (ADRs and GDRs) linked to those same underlying holdings.
