Trecora Resources manufactures and sells various specialty petrochemicals products and specialty waxes in the United States. It operates through two segments, Specialty Petrochemicals and Specialty Waxes. The Specialty Petrochemicals segment offers hydrocarbons and other petroleum-based products, such as isopentane, normal pentane, isohexane, and hexane used in the production of polyethylene, packaging, polypropylene, expandable polystyrene, poly-iso/urethane foams, crude oil from the Canadian tar sands, and in the catalyst support industry.
